I believe there's signs up all around the harbour saying no fishing allowed. And by all accounts it depends on what security guard is on duty. Damn shame with a nice shop Gotcha Angling facing the pier. Would be very handy for a session.

Lads please clean up after yourselves down there. A big push was put on to get the place open to the public with a campaign saying give us back our harbour. So locals will be quick to point out any mess to get the place closed to fishermen.

Be warned :D :D

Couldn't agree more, looks like it has the potential to be a good fishing mark from early reports anyway, let not f*** it up

I think before they took down the hoardings they were trying to keep everyone out as it was still a building site so probably for insurance purposes.

Was down there today and there were a few guys fishing off the end of the pier. They have made a grand job of this area with lots of car parking and two slipways, 1 public and 1 club (probably the sailing club). I also noticed a harbourmasters office. :D

It's a lovely clean area so try to keep it the way you find it and we will always be welcome and like Mitch encourage others to follow the same rules.
