Courtown Beach, and Cahore Rocks

Anyone fished here recently? I believe Courtown North Beach is doing fairly well, with some smoothhounds, and the odd Ray showing up?? Myself and John D are heading down this weekend, and were gonna give both a good try. Any info, or anything a little secretive, would be welcome, just PM me.

Hi Codswallop

i have taken trips down to those marks several times this summer - I left some reports on the forum but all I have managed to get was dogfish.
I am at a loss as to why the fishing was poor on all the occasions i fished there this year -

looking forward to reading your reports as I am planning to get down that way soon again.

Cheers Mick, Ive been down a few times myself over the summer with pretty similar results to yourself. With the odd withing and smoothies earlier in the summer. Hopefully this will be a good time, as we are trying some different spots around these areas!
