I fished a few nights north Donegal last week with no cod/codling what so ever. Trying to get through the coalfish is difficult and catching huge numbers of them just becomes boring. Actually caught two mackerel on mackerel strip tipped with mussel. Latest I've caught mackerel to be honest and makes me wonder if I had of chucked a few feathers out how many i could have got.
