shops are poor for bait at this time of year, maybe try and bring some wraps and mac with you. plenty of flounder and coalfish on the beaches at the minute. the odd bass is also caught. enniscrone, trawee, dunmoran, streedagh and mullagmore are the main beaches fished. if its calm enough the rock fishing can be good for pollack and wrasse. fresh lug can be dug in Streedagh and ballysadare estuary. Most of the piers are worth a shot for a conger.

I can highly recommend Nation Wide Baits, Irelands Premier Bait Delivery Service.

http://www.wix.com/wexjohn/nationwidebaits

contact Martin on 087-6481791 or on the site above, he will look after you. Absolute Gent to deal with.

I buy all my bait through them and never was let down.
