i got a berkley tec digital 35lb scales a few years back and no problems with them. €40 they also do a 50lb one. the guy who certified them reckoned i should have spent the extra few bob and got a salter electro samson tho as he reckoned he's had them back year after year and never seem to fail. sayin that, my one hasnt failed yet either

They also do a 100lb version of the Berkley TEC that weighs in 1oz increments. Mine has been in for 3 certifications  No hassle yet.

They are an excellent scales, and have stood the test of time. For me the Berkley has the edge because of the dual display and 100lbs in 1oz increments. The Salter does 50lb in 1oz increments. I went for the bigger one, just in case the tope of a lifetime comes about.
