Hi Lads
Was just wondering if any of you have used shellfish baits, I know mussels work well but was thinking about the freezer department in supermarket with the likes of frozen prawns, shrimps etc.... I am not sure if they are pre cooked or just blast frozen so I dont know what the scent trail would be like. Could they be used in a cocktail for cod???
Any ideas lads.
Dave

Re: Shellfish Baits
i'd say blast frozen prawns shouldn't be much worst as crabs bait as pre cooked ones badly staying on hook
anyway the best way is to try

Re: Shellfish Baits
When i was living in Scotland we used tiger prawns, proved very good for the coalies and pollock, cant see why they wouldnt work for cod also,
