what to bring for fishing cork harbour tomorrow am?

what to bring for fishing cork harbour tomorrow am?

Hi folks might be fishing from a boat tomorrow am ion cork harbour. Thing is would love to catch a cod but how? Have only feathered etc for mackerel on boat or lure fished for bass. I presume you need to get right down would a bass lurte rod be too light or do you need the big strong rod? pat

light boat class rod and Multi. I find its the reel's that take the abuse. After that the feathers do the business for cod if you hit a shoal
2013 species : coalies,flounder(pb),whiting,dogfish,5 beard rockling
2012 species : cod,whiting,coalies;flounder,5 beard rockling,bass,dogfish,dab
