alright lads ,anyone here framiliar with union hall pier ? was hoping for a nice conger :mrgreen: anyone have experience fishing it or heard of it having good congers? all fish will be returned and any pms welcome :mrgreen:

2011 species: pollock,mackeral,coalfish,whiting,codling,conger,flounder,dogfish,pouting.Not bad for my first few months fishing :)

2012 species: Coalfish (13), Bass (1), Rockling (5), Ballan wrasse (2), Pollock (57), Dogfish (8),
Whiting (1), Conger (1)

come on lads someone must have some idea !? long spin for me so just dont want to be a wasted trip :D

I've never tried it Darol, but it looks a decent spot.. You are quite far up the estuary, but there is deep water there. It's a very long drive if thats all your lookinf for, but if your in the area it would be worth a go.

i wouldnt mind the spin aslong as i get a result out if it, would be a disaster to go alll the way down and come home without landing a fish do ! even 1 nice conger and ill be a happy camper :mrgreen:
