Waders repair

Hi Lads

I noticed that I have a leak on the left boot of my chesties must of caught in something in the shed. Got a repair kit with them when bought them

Am asking for advice on how to repair the leak as I haven't done it before.. Can heat be applied to the boot when the patch is in place????

if its on the seam or a small pin hole use aquaseal its the best and simple to use. How big is the hole

Its a small pin hole on the front of the boot I can see it when I am folding them up when packing up....

If you cant fix it yourself a cobbler will do it for ya for about a fiver .i got mine done and they lasted for about a year after they were done

yes very easy to apply . It comes in a tube like super glue . Just daub on and leave to dry . Also if your not using your waders stand them up and have the shoulder straps held up by a coat hook . If you leave them in a ball or folded up the seams will go

Lads I got a tube of that Aquasure in Anglers Paradise in Glasnevin so I just apply it do I need to do the inside of the boot to or push the solution through the hole.

No need .
I just kind of spread it out a bit so it sets more like a film than a blob .
Keep the tube in fridge or better still freezer otherwise it will all go solid quite quickly .

Have done that yesterday and all seems ok just have to test them before I head out next and yea its in the freezer since yesterday....
