hi lads was going to go to monkstown tommow just had look at tides they are very high not great for fishing anywhere else i could go

hi fishypaul the back of the train station in cobh isnt fishing too bad for congers me and a mate fished there fri evening from the off we were into congers we must have had about 6 congers all returned nothing huge biggest 4ft long great craic though if your into catching congers had 2 other rods out only 2 doggies showed up hope this is some help the mark we fished is right next to the railway footbridge

what way was the tide?ill be heading down later on and was debating deepwater v scratching at the pier!don,t have a drop net so i was thinking the steps would be good to land them?

some horrible night of it last night dar my god.by the steps lost a rake of tackle
unmerciful note to self dont be lazy weaklinks and spark plugs the next time what a rough area but hey id loose rigs in a swiiming pool.as my leader ran out i went few hunfred yards to nxt set of steps.2 trips first with my bait etc(not a good idea by the time i was walking back with the rods there were 3 dogs at my bait got 3 only had 1 left
i was like a demon even managed to get there gobs on some razor how is that even possible!to cap it off lost my lighter another few rigs i give up USELESS!HAVENT had a more disheartening session in my life!
eban will tell ya if theres a snag to be found ill wrap a lead/rig around it under it ontop of it!keeps me up at night lol oh god!
