Cork Clubs

#1 Post by phanover »

After lurking for a while, I've decided to take the plunge and seek out a club in the Cork Harbour or East Cork areas. I'm mainly interested in shore angling, but I'm not adverse to going out in a boat either.

I'd rate myself as a novice who is wants to learn, so ideally I'm looking for a club that is actively looking to bring on new members by sharing tips, advice, techniques etc..

Any advice or experiences greatly appreciated.

Paul

Thanks Nige,

I've already made a couple of enquiries. Ideally if someone could give me a recommendation based on their own experience even better.

I'm biased as I fish with youghal Bass club. It may be a bit to east for you but we are a shore only club that fishes between Garryvoe and Dungarvan. About 10 comps per year and around 20 members. If your interested contact Drseafish by mail.
