Hi ya Kev,

Lure fishing I can’t help you with I’m afraid, but there is some cracking beach & estuary fishing nearby and ballycotton harbour has the biggest congers in the country in its walls. I’m afraid of my life of them though!

You probably only want to bring minimal gear, but give me a shout if you fancy having a go for painted ray or bass from Garryvoe or I’ll know if the cod have returned to the rivers down there.

As soon as the cod come back into the rivers, we’re going to head to Monkstown in Cobh some Friday for a freezer fill up session! I’ll drop you a txt when I get word, a load of raiders will be going down id say!

I’m fishing up your way in the morning if you’re about, heading up to Dunanny for a few hours in the morning, gis a bell if ye fancy it!

Plenty of cod around at the moment for the beaches.
The tides are perfect for some beach fishing low water on the 18th is 16:03.
I have the 19th pencilled for a session on one of the Garryvoe beaches. Send me PM if you are interested. I should have plenty of bait
