Fishing Sligo this weekend advice needed

#1 Post by dangler »

Heading over to Sligo this weekend for a bit of fishing. Can anyone advise me on some spots where I could pick up a turbot or possibly a ray (maybe thats expecting too much). I understand people want to keep marks quiet so send me a pm and I promise I keep it to myself

best bet for turbot is probably trawee - though they are usually small - have had ray off there too but not many and wouldnt be sure of a good ray mark sligo way. dunmoran strand is also ok for turbos.

You probably won't get a ray but you'll get some turbot further up the coast around Mullaghmore. They won't be huge but there'll be a few. I'm sure the plauge of the mini coalies will be in full force around there too. PM me if ya want a few spots.
