New Moon

Guys, New Moon tonight, and with the southerly winds there should be some nice surf on shouthern and eastern beaches.....

Please comment on this string if you catch more than you would expect tonight!

I've heard that New Moons offer the best opportunity to catch fish so please let us know if you find this to be the case.

There's no need to divulge your secret Marks if you dont wish to. I think the results could be interesting if people are willing to share their info..

a new moon always seems to transform my otherwise calm and loving wife into a a completely unexplainable Dr. Jekyll/ Mr. Hide being, so based on these experiences you could be lucky and catch quite a few moonstruck and aggressive female fish :lol: :roll:
Be aware, these mood swings only lasts until 2 days after new moon, so be quick :mrgreen:

I went bait fishing for bass on Tuesday night, nice surf but no bass!!
However I did get 10 or 11 codling, 1 painted ray, 1 coalfish, 1 flounder, 1 dogfish
Cod season Winter 2013/14: 117 cod (best fish: 6.5 lbs)
Cod season Winter 2014/15: 193 cod (best fish: 4.25 lbs)

Bass Totals:
2007: 1
2008: 37
2009: 120
2010: 44
2011: 151
2012: 79
2013: 20
2014: 19
