Carp from Surf Beaches?

#1 Post by barracuda »

Has anyone caught any carp from surf beaches lately? :D

According to the Irish national aquarium, carp's 'Irish Distribution - In estuaries and off surf beaches around southern, eastern and some western coasts'.

Don't be so sarcastic .
Their site says they got the " BIAZA Meritorious Award Winner 2010 - Best Education Project Public & General Visitor " so they must be right . And don't you know that carp won't eat sweetcorn because it gets stuck between their teeth
Good luck .

Extract from " tripadvisor ( !! ) " who apparently "rate" them :
...." Owner description: Galway Atlantaquaria, ....... we strive to ensure that a visit to the aquarium is original and full of wonder ."

Yep , it sure sounds like it would be !

If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Certainly not claiming to be perfect -- I make plenty of errors , including the assumption that most people have a sense of humour .
It was obviously an input error -- it was right beside a correct description of habitat . Seems to me , tho' , that it doesn't harm to make someone blush if it also leads to a professional presentation of an attraction which I have no doubt deserves one . It doesn't take much effort to proof-read an important document .
And think how many people will now have visited that site when they would not otherwise have heard of it ! :D
Anyway , no offence intended . I'll stop carping on about it .
Sorry , couldn't resist that either . Good luck .
