hello does anyone know where I can up to date sea surface temperature charts off the west of ireland

You might find something here http://www.met.ie/latest/buoy.asp

But its a long spin from Perth to the west coast of Ireland

Hows the rugby going downunder any results

Ya its was a good result for me. Only all the way out here to make a few pound.
I was looking for satellite sea surface temperature charts like this one:
