cod fishing advice

hello everyone, would anyone have any advice on a good cod fishing ground around north kerry and which bait is the best to use, I've never caught one so i'm determined this winter.

judging by last year if u have a car its well worth a trip to cork or youghal if u want to get a few big ones if u decide to do this give me a pm and i do what i can for u

Drive to cork & bring some crab! Fish/Barrell comes to mind

thanks mickm and alby for the advice. cork seems to be the place for them so, i will def give you a pm mickm if i head down that far, if i dont catch one this year i'll go mad. if ever your fishing up around here let me know, i know a great place for bass. thanks again for the advice

This year should be another bumper year in east cork.
