Tide: high 9

Weather: W 10-15knts, 3m sea

Bait: mackerel

Rigs: wire, devil rigs

Results: mackerel, cod, haddock, whiting, grey gurnard, garfish and 3 blues

Report:
this sunfish has made his way very close to the cliffs at loop head. mackerel can be caught very close to the
cliffs at this time of year. About ten miles north there is some very good cod fishing now, apparently somebody
brought up 2 double figure fish on a trace recently

This garfish took a live joey on an 8/0 hook, its badly infected with sea lice. We caught 3 blues the best around 50lbs
