Howye rob welcome to the wonderful world of sea fishing, I'm not gonna lie to ye fishing in our area is all about hard work and patience often with little success, but the odd time u get results, I don't know what fishing type ur into ,but as ur a beginner to get urself started there's plenty of mackerel unit skerries now, get some feathers floats and a few Silver spinners, most of the lads are ok and will help ye out if ur stuck, ull figure out the basics fishing for macks, then later in the year try for the whiting and codling most of the deep rockmarks in the area will be ok but fish are small, so have fun In skerries for a while then progress ,don't be afraid to ask advice on the site no matter how stupid the question we'll help ye out
