Garretstown or fountainstown Thursday ?

I'm gonna take the missus and child for the evening fishing , how are these beaches fishing at the minute ? I fished off the rocks last Saturday mornin with a floatfished rag and had two wee pollack but wan't somewhere a bit safer for the kid
2013 species : coalies,flounder(pb),whiting,dogfish,5 beard rockling
2012 species : cod,whiting,coalies;flounder,5 beard rockling,bass,dogfish,dab

All pretty weedy at the mo. Plenty of Mackerel being caught in skerries on the float..... Mind the kid though there are loads of feather flingers who dont care about what's behind them.....

fished garretstown this evening and had a great evenin all be it a quiet one . I lost one fish but still a bite gets the blood flowin :)
