What rods n reels...?

#1 Post by joebhoy »

Hi I am looking for a few tips regarding beach rods and reels. I have been away from sea angling for a long time and fancy getting myself kitted out.

I am looking to spend €300(ish) on rods that will cope with the east coast. I am not a novice but would welcome some sound advice as my sea angling over the past few years has been spinning for macks in the summer to feed the pike in the winter.

Decent shop around Dublin area would be welcome. :)
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC

Yeah I think I will pop in to Anglers Paradise over the weekend. Do you know if they have a decent selection of mid range beach casters?

Cheers for the heads up.
