is frozen crab any good i never have luck with it at all :oops:

A lot depends on the quality of the crab and the way it is frozen or the fact that crab may not work at certain venues

Crab are best frozen once they have started to pop.

It's best practice to remove the gills before you freeze them but then there are plenty of people who say that you don’t have to.

all depends on the quality of the crab ? how was it frozen ? how good was it frozen ? and what state it was in when frozen ? sometimes shop frozen crab can be well past its sell by date by the time it was frozen and can be easily pawned off to the novice buyer , Good frozen crab should be just about to pop when frozen fully pealed and lungs removed, the juices should be a orange clour , any sign of black means the lungs were left in
