#1 Post by CMN »

Hi all, im coming to gorey next week for a holiday, and i can not resist bringing a couple of rods with me. trouble is i dont no the area at all!

if anyone can suggest any good pier, rock or beach marks close by that arnt too hard too fish because i dont have much experience, i would really apreciate it!

ive heard theres loads of good marks in wexford and will probably be travelling down at some point too so if theres not much good fishing close to gorey then any suggestions would also be great!

cheers fo any help.

Drop into courtown angling centre its only about 3 miles from gorey, the lads will put you right on the marks that are fishing well they also sell bait, they even run a couple of charter boats mainly animal fishing tope ray huss hounds and dogs.

As John1 says, Courtown is your easiest option. The lads in courtown angling are more than helpful and will tell you were the local marks are,. Less than 10 minutes from gorey. Good luck with the fishing.
Good things come to those who bait.
