Not sure if its a small conger or a big european eel

one easy well to tell is the size of the pectoral fin but this is covered in the pic
also the general size of the head is also a give away, on a conger its much bigger
you can see the comparison below
i'm about 95% sure its a beast of a european eel

did you weight it?

Didnt weigh it as i didnt have a scales with me but it was pretty heavy , had another one the same size a few minutes before it but it snapped the line as i was about to net it
