anyone know anything about fishing in foynes, limerick.
advice on species, baits(and where to collect the bait) and rigs would be appreciated
i know the pier is now closed so how far should i cast?

Hi Sammy,

Just passed by that mark earlier before we went into a further mark from Limerick. There was a lad fishing right before the turn to the yacht club. The estuary was very active on fish nowadays... bring fresh mack from Rene Cussack and a few squid and you will be busy. Species that were caught today... Gurnard, Whiting, Ray, Dogs, Dab... Don't forget... you hit the marks on a rising tide... :) :) :) :) .
