easy rock marks in cork ?

#1 Post by Preston »

I've been livin in Cork for a few years now and mainly stuck to rivers but I have decided to get back into sea fishing this year . I am lookini for any easily accessible rock marks to catch mackeral and pollock and the like. I've tried fountainstown beach and currabinny pier using ragworm ,lug, razor and sandeel as baits on different occasions over the last year to no avail . I'm getting bites but no fish ! Please help me . Thanks in advance

theres plenty of pollack in fountainstown off the rocks on the left but ive never gotten anything huge. try a float with a size 2 hook and rag and you should get a few.

try founatinstown after dark there are dogs there from low water up .
other species also include flats and bass .
I would not find this my favourite mark to fish but find it quite handy to bag up on dogs to pass away a few hours.
