a very small single hook as mullet have small mouths
the length depends on the dept of water 6- 18 " i find works best
life tastes better through a pineapple

speices 2011 whiting ,flounder, cod , coalie,,shore rockling , LsD,pollock, mack ,dab turbot sea trout ,bull huss ,3 rockling , wrasse

A size 8 kamasan match coarse hook will be perfect for bread. Try to get an inline carp float. They are easier to set up that the standard shore float. A bubble will do if you can't find them. Clear wagglers will also work if you need to sink the bait a little.

I've just used size 2 hooks, and no float. Just let the hook with the bread float on the top.

Size 8 hook, try not to use a bubble float as it creates a bigger splash which can spook the mullet.

i use a 3ft hook lenght of 6lbs flurocarbon size 8 or 10 coarse fishing hook and a small bubble half full of water . kepp feeding em with bread they will come on the feed all of a sudden for 20 mins or so . some people just keep feeding and won't make a cast at em until they see the mullet taking the free offerings , my two cents
