casting multipliers

#1 Post by toiletduck »

im goin2 get loads of abuse here, for asking this, but when casting a mulitplier do u hav2 hols ur thumb on d spool, cand u just whip the rod forward, and let the line run off, like is the drum or spool tensioned to prevent a birds nest, and a disaster, with line?this is why i use fixed spool, there just so simple to use,and is its not broke, why fix it.just curious to others peoples thoughts, etc.

Only one certain way for you to know for sure:

Try it out yourself a couple of times the way you describe and see what happens.

Yes, I know I'm bad. Very bad.
