#1 Post by herefishyfishy »

People:Myself andJames

Duration: 11.00 - 13.00

Tide: High at 13.08 (3.84m)

Weather: Bluster & warm

Bait: none

Rigs: Feathers (Shrimp & tinsel type)

Results: mackeral (22No)

Report:
Decided to head out pick James up at 10.00am and went to get the boat had it in and ready to go at 11.00 just as the yatch race started tempted to join but decided fishing is 100 times better so off we went the other way around to islands eye. Drifted four times on the back of the island resulting in 22no mackeral in the boat seal decided that we would catch his lunch for him and he had many more off the lines and a few that came off close to the boat. all in all i say we could of had 40 if our luck would have it. Headed back in and had the boat out the water at just after 13.00. Nice to get out sea wasnt as lumpy as i though but seen some smaller boats than mine heading out when i was coming back in and i wouldn't fancy that. truely enjoyable day now just waiting for the missus to give me the call to head to the pub. What a day to spend a saturday morning.
