Tidal run

Anybody know at what stage in the tides is there a run on south wexford beach near Ladys Island.

Go there at low tide then wait and watch

use the (Rule Of Twelfths) :wink: all you need is a tide table you dont have to go anywhere at low tide to have a look as suggested :roll:

the tidal run is normally strongest two hours up to hw and two hours after slack into the drop,sometimes on wex beaches you can have two high tides in a 6 hour period its to do with the water flowing around the north into the irish sea and meeting the flow coming round from the south around cork they kinda bang off each other if you get my DRIFT :mrgreen: also on smaller tides you might not notice any run ,if its smoothies your after the bigger tides seem to be producing better and keeping those pesky dogfish off your crab :twisted:
