Report:spur of the moment trip recently inspired to go fishing again by i dont know what! i felt the sudden urge to wet a line. so afgter buying a few rag and a pack of frozen mac i was on my way to killiney beach for a few casts. hopes wernt to high given the poor conditions but still i was here to chill so even one fish would do. found a few loop rigs i had made up from my old match fishing days and got to work. still knew how to pop a rag on a hook and fillet a mackereland cut it into strips for tipping. so that was good to know. then found myself tying a grinner knot which went well
managed only a few fish my first being a dogfish at distance on rag tipped with and then two small pin whiting into darkness close in on straight rag aimed at a flattie. all in all killiney was as mediocre as predicted hopefully il be out again at the weekend yeowwwhttp://a4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos- ... 1281_n.jpg
