I have one and its a fine rod, has good bite detection and casts well

i am a bit of a greys fan
and use several of their rods.
i av the grx-s and use a mag 525 ,the combo works really well and is a work horse of a rod with good bite detection great over rough ground

I have one and find it a great bit of kit. A few lads off the site gave me casting lessons recently and they found it to be a nice casting rod too and they're all zippy fans. It suits all casting styles well and has a fair bit of back bone. Good quality fittings also. And from the fishing side, it has good bite detection and a stiff enough tip that it won't be hopping in the wind, also will take a fair bit of abuse as i've tamed congers to 20lb with no problem. Great all rounder and a rod i'll be using for a long time to come.
