Doonbeg Co.Clare

#1 Post by tuborg »

Hi
Going on a family holiday last week of July (wifey and two kids) and hoping to cast a line if allowed :D .
Pure novice here fishing east Cork marks for the year or so with very limited results(and by the shore reports from there i must crap) but how and ever i enjoy it and will crack it one day.....
Anyway enough of feeling sorry for myself so was wondering if anyone on here might share a mark or two down Doonbeg way pms welcome, and any info on where to buy bait etc.......
Dont really get all this targeting species( just chuck it out and hope) so any info would be great.....

Many thanks
John

I don't think Michael will be giving any advice anymore, he sadly passed away earlier in the year. A friend of mine visited the shop and everything was on sale so we don't know what the future holds for it but if you are visiting the area have some standby bait with you.
The Truth is often stumbled upon by men, most of whom pick themselves up and hurry along as if nothing ever happened.
