hook help please

well i went to buy a few hooks and noticed a few different shapes available. a lot more shapes then i can remember from a few years ago, but anyway just wondering which hook shapes are best for what, aberdeen, etc. thanks.

well depends on what type of fishin boat, rock or shore and what yer targeting, (but long shank is for big, cocktail or worm baits)...as it took me along time to realise its better with quality and a small selection of differing options and sizes, try fishing small hooks (4 or 2 strong!) with small baits...you be suprised what happens!... :lol:

+1 on the small hooks, and dont be afraid to go a lot smaller :wink:
