Who do you report bass ban fishermen to rosslare area
hi was walking the dogs on a beach down rosslare way 7.30am monday 6 june, came across a guy fishing for bass. This lad knew what he was at, had nice expensive looking gear, I said to him 'you know there is a ban on', his reply was it was ok as long as he threw them back. I replied 'no as far i know you can't do that'. And walked on. Had no phone with me for a nice photo of him to put up, or call the guards, but what is the correct number to call, im always down there and no doubt i will see this kind of thing again.

There are numbers on site for contacting fisheries boards.
There sometimes seems to be an element of confusion about the ban - Eg: It's OK if I put them back. Sometimes tourists can be unaware of the regulations.
Fact is the closed season is just that, a closed season.
Some guys know what they are doing and fish away anyway... That said, the fishing must be crap because nobody has put up reports of bass caught recently

Reporting a guy for not catching bass and if he did would release them anyway. I know he's against the law but in fairness this is over kill.

I was fishing on Sat using a bass rod and rag and crab for bait, would you have reported me without seeing a bass landed?
