Lots of little ones...

#1 Post by brianewan »

Over the last 2 trips spinning off dun laoghaire pier and rocks in killiney i've had over 30 pollock... which is great except they were all really tiny. Is it the time of year? or do I just need to find deeper water in order to get a decent size fish?

i wouldnt be convinced that its the time of year or anything - plenty of good ones being caught aroound the coast at the moment. a lot of wee ones simply means that it is probably all there is around at the time in that area. deeper water would certainly help, i would have moved location...
better luck next time!
