Take the old N11 from Arklow towards Inch. Pass the Glanbia works drive under the railway line, and about a quarter of a mile further on is the left turn towards Castletown. Follow the road to the Golden Anchor Pub. There are three main access points to Clones Strand, but only two are of interest. The first is immediately north of the Pub, take a right and follow the lane down to the beach. To access the second drive south towards Tara Hill take the first left after crossing the river. This lane runs down to the Kilgorman section of the strand.
