Report: finally got a car again after 3 weeks off and no car for that time
never tried cushendun beach before but ive been reading the good reports here. fished the far left just beside and off the rocks. tried the rag and mackrel but no bites. got the spinning rod out as what im guessing were sea trout were leaping about off the end of the rocks.
ended up hooking a small pollock and what im guessing was a rather large sand eel a good 12" long, and then on the next cast another pollock. all took multi-coloured feathers, all were returned alive
stopped off at glenarm and lost a load of gear trying for pollock and wrasse dont know if theres any about but its definately rocky, with enough weed!!
decent day all in all, finally got some proper casting practice with my multiplier and ive got the burns to prove it
