Galway Advice

Alright lads

I'm heading to Galway on Friday for a stag night and I have 4 or 5 hours to kill if I want so I was going to bring along the rods and do a bit of fishing. Has anyone any suggestions or advice about marks that might pass a few hours. It'd be nice to relax before the madness begins.

well shane - HW is around 8.30

my best advice would be to head down to spiddal pier while its filling and pick off a few small fish - you could try silver strand but youll have an awful amount of spanners annoying you - salthill will be worse especially in the daylight

as the post says above go to spiddle pier. its your best bet and you will have a bit of peace there.

Cheers for that lads Spiddal it is. I'll only be hitting it for a 3 or 4 hours mid morning into the afternoon. After that I'll have beer on my mind and fish will be the last thing I'll be worried about.

enjoy the beer and fishing,just watch out for bit of rough ground on the right hand side at the end of the pier when you are reeling in
