Greys Triplex 16ft
Bought a triplex at the start of the year and have found it to be an excellent beach rod, easy cast , good bite detection and deceiving power in it when required. anyone one else got one?what you think of it?

ive used it on fahan with the tide hammering through, benone with a strong pull and on really blowy days.
with its length and lightness far enough it can bounce about a bit in the stand and with it being 16ft the tip has a fair bend in a strong tide but the mid section and butt have good power in them and it only seems to be the tip section itself that bends in the tide, not a bad thing as it doesnt knock some fish off during the retrieve like harder tipped rods tend to do some times.ive been able to use it pretty much everywhere apart from rough ground.i would definately recommend it for general beach and match fishing
