some times catching crabs is a good thing.........or is it...........?

09 so far--codling coalies plaice flounder turbot 3&5 bearded rockling doggies whitting shanny and a [color=#FF0000]5lb [/color]huss thornback ray squid starfish mackeral pollack corkwing wrasse ballan wrasse [color=#FF0000]5lb 6oz [/color]conger

That really is amazing video footage, numbers of fish are crazy and to be jumping clean out of the water like that is mental, lol..... :lol:

Trust me you dont want them. They are an Invasive Species and will destroy alot of lakes and rivers in America. Video looks good until you read about them. I am living in America and in certain areas they have destroyed the native fish and plant life.

good jasus,,,,some of them are fine fish too,,,no fun in that thou,,,they should of thrown them back out,,,poor fishies

They are Asian carp and have taken over a lot of the inland waterways. There was a doc on TV a while back and what they were trying to do just to keep them under control. A lot of the native fish have disappeared since they where realized into the water by a human hand. The doc even found that they had spread nearly as far as one of the great lakes and had built electric barriers to stop them invading. Not nice fish are looked as vermin.
Species 2012: Flounder, Whiting, Dublin Bay Codling, Coalie, 3 Beard Rockling, Shore Rockling, Bass, Dogfish, 5.2lb Starry Smoothhound (PB), Twaite Shad, Thornback Ray 5.8lbs (PB), LSD, Pollock, Ballan Wrasse, Cork Wing Wrasse, 43cm Flounder (PB)

Species 2013: Coalie, East Coast Codling, Smoothounds, And hopefully a back opp to get back fishing soon...
