I was on the boyne estuary last sunday. I thought I was in Dublin Zoo  .. i made a bad mistake going out.
There must have been 100 day visitors from Dublin in Mornington trying to avoid the crowds in Bettystown.

On top of that the weed had washed in and I couldnt work the lure 2 foot without it getting hindered.

I packed up after 45 minutes. Saw 3 sea trout jumping. Nothing else.
2011: Aims:
1. To discover as many marks as I can.
2. To catch a bass over 5lb on a lure.
3. To stick to, and learn about lure fishing so I can shake off the beginner tag!

I was out on Sunday in Louth and the amount of weed that was being washed up with the easterly was unbelievable packed up after hour and half, had a look at a beach not far from swords today and not a bit of weed mind you the tide was on the ebb!!!!!!!
