hi guys help needed again and thanks for help thus far was out friday nyt and engine wouldnt idle properly and when tried shifting inti gear it would die my question is how can i check if coils are working i know its summit small so im gettinbg fustrated now

Sounds like a much more serious problem. Could be any number of things. I would suggest a good mechanic for this one.

agree with kevin here mechanic will sort it. just dont let anyone unqualified mess with it [ie turning up the idle ect] you could do major damage and will end up costing more than it would for a mech to look at it

I have feeling it's summit like a coil gone down I be inclined to try check out if this be case first before paying out big money for a small thing what should I look at to check coils

When a coil goes it will run very rough at idle...

Problem solved was coil after all so fixed it myself picked up second hand coil for 15quid so cheap fix mechanic would have charged bit more so paid off fixing myself thanks lads
