mackerel marks ?

#1 Post by flynnboy »

Hi Guys

Can anyone suggest why it seems that Mack always seem to be found around piers and harbours ?

Where else might they be found - particular kinds of bottoms or anywhere ?

theres is no particular reason only you can access deeper water easily and its easy for mack bashers to fish off a pier. mackeral can be caught off beaches, rocks, piers pretty much anywhere but people who fish beaches generally have bigger fish to fry and mackeral aint usually the target.
