Murvagh beach donegal

#1 Post by billy the fish »

Hi guys, i'll be staying in a cottage on the banks of the river murvagh, the first week in may. The river has runs of salmon and seatrout as well as brownies and flatfish as its less than 1 mile from the beach. Do any of you lads know if the shore fishing is any good at murvagh?

cheers.

It's not that great to be honest, very very shallow for a long way out. Try it if you must for small flounders, better bet would be Rossnowlagh which is only ten minutes from where your staying.
