Cork Beginner marks

Basically i havent a hownot to lose 100's of rigs over rocks and i finding it too complicated, i need some marks with deep water that will produce a few fish with lures and thats near cork city area and if someone could tell me where to get my own fresh bait id really appreciate, i really wanna get out fishing again but need some confidence

Hi,
If you want to lure fish near Cork City you can get started a bit later and fish for mack in Monkstown or Cobh in a couple of months. There are better fish to be had in Cork Harbour on lures, but the chances I think are better as the weather warms up.
If you're looking for bait then you obviously aren't just looking for lure fishing. You get deep water in Cobh and in Monkstown again, to name two. Plenty reports here to have a search for.

The reason i lure fish is cause frozen bait is so expensive, digging it fresh could save me alot of money and catch me fish, thanks ! more feedback people
