Broken Rod
Noticed (while packing for a session) that my D-Surf has no ceramic ring on the top eye anymore :/ Is it worth fixing? And if it's fixable,how and where?

Hi ocean roar. if its the very top eye. you can buy eyes from a good tackle shop. the top eye on most rods are held in place with a glue inside the eye shaft. and not the whipping around the rod. the way Ive taken off this eye is to hold the eye with a pliers and heat the eye shaft with a lighter the glue looses its grip with heat and it will pull off. clean down the rod top so no old glue and put the new eye on with super glue .. but be careful you will only get on go with super glue. there is also a resign you can get that will give you time to line up the eye and also build out the rod top if the new eye is a looser fit.some tackle shops will do this for a few euro and save you the hassel.
