All I can tell you is that I was out on Paddys and Sunday just gone, early morning about 6am just at day break with a nice surf running about half way into the tide and not a sniff. I was fishing around the rocks at the back of Howth. Still think it is a bit early.

Send Roger De Dodger a PM. He usually knows where they are on a day to day basis.

Was in south side anglinging during the week and 2 bass were caught on bait around the Bailey light house/ Red Rock area last Sunday, the same day I was out. Must not be coming in close enough yet for lure of fly fishing. So they are around.

When fishing off Red Rock/Baily, are you better fishing with lures into surf or ledgering with rag/lug/crab? Sorry first post, usually do some boat angling with a mate out of Dun Laoghaire, but looking at doing some shore fishing this year around Howth/Sutton? Cheers.
