solar chargeing batterys

hi lads just bought a 25ft cabin cruiser on the shannon i have a solar panel just want to know how to wire it up cheers gar
isn't great to be alive

Its its a low wattage panel you just connect it directly to the battery or isolator switch.
If its a higher power solar panel you need a regulator... what do the instructions suggest?

I have a couple of 1.5W panels in parallel keeping the battery topped up while the boat is parked behind the house. Connectors are straight onto the battery posts, there's a cut-out circuit inside the panels that shuts them off if you get the polarity wrong, so its all straight forward.

thanks lads found some info on the panel that i didn't have ye lokk easy cheers gar
