coming over tomorrow to my lads house in kilcool to decorate/and other jobs for a week
just want to see if its worth fishing kilcool/newcastle beachs in the evenings and any info on the tides for the next keek?

Hi Andy HT is about 8pm tomorrow. You can pretty much add an hour on for each night after for that stretch. The fishing has been poor along Greystones the last few months but I'm sure you'll pick up a few fish. There was a comp on Kilcool last week maybe someone that fished it can give you a heads up. friday night we were in greystone beach, 5 rods 3 fish catch by my mate ,blank day for me and me son who is 6 but good angler
saturday we were in killcool 4 rod (me and my son) and talked other two anglers, result is between 4 of us 5 crap
so as other mention those area so poor these days but again you never know
thats fishing right

a recent post went up here latey someone had a good catch of doggies in kiloughter not too far at all as long as u got a 4 by 4

should be a few dogs ,the odd flounder and small whiting on kilcoole and much the same on newcastle ............. stay away from kiloughter unless you have a 4x4
